Features

This machine has been a top-rated treadmill in customer reviews for year after year. It’s compatible with the iFit Coach, it's powerful, and it comes at a reasonable price. This year, 2019, NordicTrack added a feature allowing you to use Bluetooth to control your workouts, but this is among many features that people have always loved about the machine.

Some of the standard features that come with this machine include a quiet 3.6 CHP motor, that’s strong enough for experienced athletes. It also includes iFit Coach workouts on a 7" touch screen for the web. There are built-in digital workouts you can enjoy on the power incline and the declining surface of the treadmill.

The iFit Coach works well with the slope feature, which adjusts the incline to sync with the scenic views and real terrain on your screen. You can experience several different regions virtually, including places in Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. With the iFit Coach, your workouts have variety, and the system makes suggestions based on your goals and activity.

This full-sized home treadmill can be folded up in just a few seconds with the EasyLift Assist system. For 2019, this machine is a favorite for home fitness.

PROS

  • Touchscreen Control Panel: With a touchscreen panel, this piece of fitness equipment secures its place among the latest, modern models. The 7-inch touchscreen included allows you to check your calories burned, watch TV, check email, your mileage numbers, to switch workout programs, and even check updates on your social media. The built-in iFit Coach helps you track progress so you can remain directed toward your fitness goals. You can also use Google Street views or the HD video that reveals jogging routes around the world.
  • Integrated with Workout Apps: This model includes over 38 different workout programs that have been designed by some of the most prominent trainers in the fitness industry. Investing in a NordicTrack Commercial 1750 saves the money you would otherwise be spending on personal training sessions. And all you have to do to get an effective workout is rely on the machine’s guiding suggestions to hit your fitness goals. There are various workout options to choose from with speed training sessions, calorie burning programs, and heart rate control options.
  • Decline & Incline Features: To increase your workout intensity, you must have access to a treadmill with incline and decline features. The NordicTrack 1750 allows for up to a 15% incline, and also allows you to use a 3% decline. Using these features, you can achieve a superior calorie burn, improve your resting metabolic rate, condition your cardiovascular level, and gain strength all at once. If you’re an interval training enthusiast, you can use the incline to complete your interval instead of having to run. People who may be prone to injury might find that it's easier to run on a slope and to run up a one to two percent gradient every day can reduce the impact on the joints when exerting yourself.
  • Tablet Holder: If you like to enjoy entertainment while using the treadmill, the Commercial 1750 has a container where you can place a device or even a book or magazine if you'd like some more traditional reading.
  • Audio: With this machine, you can easily enjoy audio streaming from the treadmill using the plug-in music ports. The built-in system is much simpler than having to use an mp3 player.
  • Tread Belt: With a 60 inch by 22-inch workout space, this treadmill gives you plenty of room to work out. The belt is 2 inches wider than most models, providing extra room for taller runners. The belt is also thicker which reduces the amount of noise that is made when in use and increases the longevity of the machine's life.
  • Cushioning Preferences: If you are training to participate in a road race, but can only train on a treadmill, for the time being, the cushioning built into this machine will make workouts less strenuous for you. With this model, you can turn on the cushioning according to your preferences. Using this feature, you can protect your joints and mimic real-world outdoor conditions. Turning off the cushioning puts 30% more impact on your joints, so this is something you'll want to consider when training.
  • Heart Rate Monitoring: If you like to keep track of numbers, the NordicTrack 1750 makes it simple. With a Bluetooth heart rate tracker, compatible with both a chest strap and contact sensors, you can make sure you are training at the intensity you're striving for.
  • Cooling Features: There are three fans in this machine to help you keep cool while you run or walk. One is built into the accessory tray to keep your body cool, the other two are in the console to direct air over your face. While this isn’t a mandatory requirement, it certainly is a nice feature to have.
  • Foldable: If you're someone with limited space, you can quickly move this treadmill out of the way and into storage. It folds into an upright position so you can move it out of your living room if necessary. The total footprint of this machine when unfolded is 72.25 inches and 34 inches wide.
  • Weight Capacity: This treadmill is very sturdy and can support a user of a weight up to 300 pounds. So no matter your position, the machine should able to support you.
  • Motor: The 1750 has you covered if you want a quiet workout. The 3.6 CHP motor in this model is one of the quietest in the industry with top speeds of up to 12mph. Because of the high speed and low noise, this machine is perfect for interval training as well as long-distance training at a smooth and steady pace.
  • iFit Coach Training Programs: You can get all of the workout excitement you'll ever want. Not only do you get landscape views while running uphill or down, but you'll also find Google Maps will provide a view of your streets along with the machine incline of -3 to 15 percent. There has never been a more enjoyable way to get in shape.
  • iFit Coach Tracking: The onboard technology provided by the iFit Coach keeps tabs on your progress made every exercise session. After every workout, the data gets logged into the treadmill’s memory. If you have a device paired with the iFit Coach, like your phone, the data will be synced for your review. This makes it easier to plan lifestyle changes and diets when you have all the information you need to make decisions.
  • Warranty: This treadmill offers a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor with five years on parts and two years of labor.

CONS

  • Assembly: More than a few reviews about the NordicTrack that getting the machine built and ready for operation can be difficult. It may require labor costs to get the device moved into place and constructed appropriately.

This treadmill is much better than previous versions, now with enhanced quality audio to keep you pumped. While the 1750 is the least expensive model in the NordicTrack Commercial Series, it’s hardly the most beginner-friendly. It’s a luxurious choice that can be used by power walkers to experienced athletes alike.

At 72.25 x 34 x 61 inches, the machine weighs 310 pounds. It can support users of a weight up to 300 pounds.

How much is the NordicTrack iFit Membership?

It costs about $1 per day. The first year of the membership tends to be included in the price at $396. Otherwise, you can buy the monthly package of $39 per month. With the extensive numbers of features on a treadmill like the 1750, this is an excellent value.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 vs. SOLE F80

The NordicTrack and the Sole treadmills are often compared.

They are both durable, high-quality treadmills at similar price points. However, when you examine their features in each category, it is clear to see that the 1750 is the better choice.

The NordicTrack has a better touchscreen with the iFit workout programs. However, the F80 has a higher weight capacity. Read my full review of the Sole F80 here.
